Y O U R D A T A
We build AI systems for a living, so we know exactly what people worry about. Here is the plain version of what we do with your data, and what we never do.
The short version.
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. There are no accounts and no logins. We never sell, rent or trade your data. Our typefaces are served from our own server, so no font request ever reaches Google.
Your information reaches us only when you choose to send it: a message through our contact form, a question typed into the chat assistant, an email, a booked call, or a paid invoice.
Six pages carry an AI chat assistant: the home page, Services, Work, About, Contact and Pay. Anything you type into it is processed by the company that runs it, and section 5 names that company and says what happens to what you type. This page does not carry it.
This website is operated by TheJamah LLC, a limited liability company registered in Minnesota, United States, working from Zurich, Switzerland. Salim Karaafe is responsible for the data described here.
You can reach us any time at hello@thejamah.com. Because we work from Switzerland and serve clients internationally, we hold ourselves to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
When you visit. Our host records standard technical data for every request: IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time. This is how any web server works. It keeps the site running and secure. We do not use it to identify you and we keep no separate copy.
When you send us a message. Our contact form asks for your name, email, company (optional), the service you need, and your project details. We use it to answer you and to scope your project. Nothing more.
When you book a call. Our booking link takes you to Calendly, where you enter your name, email and a time slot. Nothing is sent to Calendly while you are on our site.
When you pay an invoice. Payment happens on PayPal, on Stripe, or through your bank. No card number or bank credential ever passes through this website. We receive a confirmation showing your name, the amount and the reference.
When you become a client. We keep what the work requires: contact details, project information, correspondence, deliverables and invoices.
We use a small number of services to run the business. Each one sees only what it needs:
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we never hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
This website sets no cookies. No cookies of ours, no third-party cookies, no local storage, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting. We run no analytics or advertising tools of any kind.
That is why you see no cookie banner here. There is nothing to consent to. Sites you open from our links, such as Calendly, PayPal and Stripe, use their own cookies once you are there.
We build AI systems for a living, so we will be precise here rather than reassuring.
Six pages of this site carry an AI chat assistant, the round button in the corner: the home page, Services, Work, About, Contact and Pay. It is provided by buildmyagent.io. Loading one of those pages means your browser contacts that company, which gives them your IP address and the page you are on. If you type into it, they process what you type, and we see the conversation. It is there to answer questions about our services at any hour. This privacy page, the Terms, the Calculator, the Demo and the case studies do not carry it.
If you would rather no AI touched your enquiry at all, do not use the chat: email hello@thejamah.com or use the contact form instead. Those reach a person directly.
Separately, and this is the part that matters for clients: no AI tool touches client project data. The files, documents, credentials and business information a client gives us during a project are never put into an AI system. Every decision about your project is made by a person.
We work from Switzerland. Some of the services above are based in the United States, so data reaches them there. We use providers that commit to recognised safeguards for those transfers, including the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Bank transfers stay in Switzerland.
This is a static website with no accounts, no logins and no customer database, so there is no store of passwords to breach. Every page is served over an encrypted connection. No card number ever reaches our systems. Two-factor authentication is switched on for every account we use to hold your data, and access is limited to the people who need it.
You can ask us at any time, free of charge, to:
We do not profile you and we make no automated decisions about you.
Write to hello@thejamah.com and we will answer within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that your data never goes to the wrong person.
If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, or, if you are in the EU or EEA, the supervisory authority where you live or work.
We work with businesses and professionals. This website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
When we build or maintain a website, automation or AI system for a client, that client decides what happens with the data inside it and we act on their instructions under a written agreement. If your data sits in a system we built for someone else, their privacy policy governs it, not this one, and we will pass any request straight to them.
We update this page when our tools or the law change. The current version always sits here with its date at the top.
Anything at all, write to hello@thejamah.com. A person reads it.
